Affion Crockett Miami Concert reviews
Overall Disappointed!
Steve Miller played all of his old songs and rocked! Tower of Power was ok, but we were disappointed with Affion Crockett. Pineda did an ok job as a front man, even though some songs he sounded like Steve Perry and others were way off. He changed his shirt and shoes a lot, jumped around the stage, and kept getting on a big box to sing, then would jump off again. He had a lot of energy, but it was kind of distracting. At times, the band played over the vocals so you could not hear him that well. They played a lot of their new music, which shows their evolution as a band, but for us old timers, we would have loved to hear more of the old Journey songs. Overall, I would say this was an ok concert. Don't think we would pay to go again to see this generation of Affion Crockett. Once is ok, but we won't go again.
